Reporting and Fixing Bugs


We strive to make SurveyFish a problem-free experience for you. However, if you come across a bug please spare the time to report it to us. We will fix it as quickly as possible and release the fix via the Smart Update service.


It May Already Be Fixed

Please remember the bug may already be fixed in the latest version of SurveyFish.

If your current licence is not more than 12 months old you can download latest enhancements and fixes. (Open SurveyFish, go to help and click on Update).

If your current SurveyFish licence is more than 12 months old you first need to renew the SurveyFish Update service.

Reporting a Bug

Your bug hasn’t already been fixed? Then please report it now.

It is important to describe the circumstances under which the bug occurred as accurately as possible. To report a bug please:
  1. Provide your email address, so we can reply to you.
  2. Identify the version of SurveyFish you are using.
  3. Identify the main component, e.g. design, data entry, on-line surveys, results management
  4. Identify the area of the problem, e.g. questionnaire/style template/section/explanatory text/font size
  5. Be as detailed as you can with your report.
